Ms. Shi-to and Her Way to Piss Me Off
【JAPAN:OPINION 3】Ms. Shi-to and Her Way to Piss Me Off

I am writing a follow-up opinion on an article I read opposing the “so-called victim” that is Ms. Ito or as I like to call her Ms. Sh-ito if you get what I mean. I totally support sexual harassment victims but what Ms. Sh-ito was saying about her story makes real victims look bad to the point where they don’t want to speak out.
Ms. Shi-to claims she was “raped” by a well-known Japanese journalist and that she was given roofies. By watching just a few minutes of her documentary, I’ve noticed some red flags about her. Roofies are known to knock you out where you can’t remember what went on. She said that the last thing she remembered was the toilet in the restaurant. Then later on, when she shows the reporters the hotel where she was “raped”, she said she remembered the street light from that same night. Well, which one is it? Which detail does she actually remember? Oh and why did she keep drinking knowing that alcohol impairs judgement?
First, I believe that the journalist took care of her, making sure she was okay. He did not slip her roofies. According to the police, there was no evidence on any of his devices that shows the purchase of roofies and I’m sure that the police went through everything to prove her bullshit claims. Second, as much alcohol as she drank, she had to be throwing up all over the place. I don’t think a man would go near her, especially when she smells of puke. At least what he did for her was very kind, he put her to bed and slept in another room. I would’ve done the same thing. Next, after the “incident” , she emailed him her gratitude. She was so sure she got what she wanted. What happened next? I assume she didn’t get her dream job or didn’t get it fast enough.
Then all hell broke loose. She started accusing the man left and right. Bringing her bullshit for all the world and BBC to see. She sold her story like a dirty romance novel and of course people believed her. Why did she do it? For attention? For fame? This is how propaganda works. You tell what people want to hear, you give in the social and political agenda. This is what China did to me, I thought it was this wonderful place. I went there and it was a living hell. But I won’t get into that now. Oh and the journalist was never arrested. How do you like that?
Why am I mad at this woman? She talks badly about Japan. She says it’s not safe for women. I’ve lived here long enough to say it’s the safest country I’ve lived in and no one has tried to sexually harass me. In the USA and China, rape and sexual harassment are way too common. I know because I am a victim in both countries. China has a law where spousal rape doesn’t exist. In the USA, pedophiles and sexual predators always get light sentences or they don’t get in trouble at all. The bitch does not know what real sexual harassment is. I do and many others do too. Now in my conclusion, just remember… 1.There are real victims out there. 2. Don’t believe anything Ms. Sh-ito says. 3. Don’t fall for propaganda. And 4. Be smart and trust your gut.
